Sri Nathji at Nathdwara is a very important Temple near Udaipur, Rajasthan. Vajranabha, Lord Krishna's great-grandson installed this deity 5000 years ago. The same Deity was worshiped by Madhavendra Puri at Govardhana. Rana Raj Singh of Mewar brought Sri Nathji to Nathdwara around year 1669 AD.

Bithoor is 24 km from Kanpur. This is the Birthplace of Dhruva Maharaja. The ruins of King Uttanapada palace on the banks of the Ganges River stand tall as testimony. Next to it is Brahmavarta-ghata where Lord Brahma performed Ashwamedha yajna.

Kalpi is the Birthplace of Srila Vyasadeva. It is a remote village on the bank of the Yamuna River in Jalaun district in Uttar Pradesh, 1 hr-45 mins drive from Kanpur. The entire area is incredibly peaceful and spiritually surcharged.
The ancient town of Ujjain is on the bank of the Kshipra River. Lord Krishna, along with Balarama and Sudama, received education from Maharishi Sandipani here. Ujjain is one of the four sites in India that host the Kumbh Mela once in 12 years.
The holy, timeless village of Devprayag is at a unique confluence of two celestial rivers, Alaknanda & Bhagirathi Rivers, which both form the mainstream flow of the Ganges River. Lord Rama came here and performed a yajna here to atone for killing Ravana. It is one of the 108 Divya-desam of Sri Sampradaya.
Jyotirmath means "Monastery of light." This is a town amidst Himalayan ranges, 2 hours from Badrinath. When Badrinath closes during the winter, the priests from the Badrinath Temple come to Joshimath & continue their worship at the Lord Nrsimhadeva Temple.
Rudraprayag is at the confluence of the Alaknanda & Mandakini rivers. Narada Muni performed severe penances for 100 celestial years, desiring to master the art of transcendental music. 17 km from Rudraprayag there is a small town of Augustmuni, where the great sage Augustya performed austerities to please the Supreme Lord.
Nandaprayag & Karnaprayag Yatra
Nandprayag is at the confluence of the Nandakini & Alaknanda rivers. Maharaja Nanda performed a great sacrifice here. There is an ancient Sri Gopala Ji Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Karnaprayag is 18 km from Nandprayag, at the confluence of Alaknanda & Pinder Ganga rivers. Karna performed sacrifice to Suryadeva and achieved an unbreakable kavacha & earrings.
Vishnuprayag is the sacred confluence of the rivers Dhauli Ganga emerging from Tibet (China) and Alakananda emerging from Satopanth glacier. Vishnuprayag is 10km from Joshimath on the way to Badrinath.
