 Mount Kailash in Tibet is one of the most challenging and demanding on earth. At the highest point of 5,850 meters, one is left gasping for air as the oxygen level is only one third of what it is a sea level. Mount Kailash is the earthly abode of Lord Siva & his consort, Parvati.

 Situated high in the Himalayas on the banks of the Alakananda river, Badrinath has been visited by great saintly persons since time immemorial. Temple deity here is self-manifested from a Salagram sila. Nearby is the cave where Srila Vyasadeva wrote down Vedic scriptures.
