Pandharpur, the Land of Lord Vitthal, is one of the most revered place steeped with devotion to Lord Krishna, who is locally known as “Vitthal” or “Vithoba”. Padma Purana & Skanda Purana describe that Lord Krishna came to Pandharpur in search of Rukmini Devi, when she became upset from Him while they were in Dwarka.
Nashik is the principal place in the lila of Lord Rama. Lakshmana cut the nose of Surpanakha, the sister of demon Ravana here, which gave the name to this city. At Panchavati, Sri Sri Sita Rama Laxmana spent one year of Their exile before Ravana kidnapped the mayaic expansion of Sita Devi.

Kaundinyapur - Birthplace of Rukmini
Kaundinyapur is a tiny village, 2 hours from Nagpur in Amravati, Maharashtra on the banks of river Wardha. This is the birthplace of Rukmini Ji, the principal queen of Lord Krishna. This is also where the famous Rukmini haran (kidnaping) pastime took place.
Sant Tukaram's Dehu & Pune Yatra
Tukarama was among the most prominent saints to have come out of the holy land of Maharashtra. He hailed from the village of Dehu, near Pune, and was born in the Warkari community who are devotees of Lord Vitthala.

Sri Nathji at Nathdwara is a very important Temple near Udaipur, Rajasthan. Vajranabha, Lord Krishna's great-grandson installed this deity 5000 years ago. The same Deity was worshiped by Madhavendra Puri at Govardhana. Rana Raj Singh of Mewar brought Sri Nathji to Nathdwara around year 1669 AD.
